And then this spring will have been three years since my next two 'tiels and pair of budgies died. From Teflon poisoning. One of them died right in my hands, I held her until the suffocation was too much and her lungs gave away. I could feel her struggled breaths against my palms until the very end when she let out a final cry and had a spasm and left for good.
I don't mean to upset you more by telling you all this, I just. I really feel what you must be going through right now. Those birds are like your babies. Even if he doesn't find his way back to you, I pray that Yamapi finds safety, somewhere somehow. *hugs tight*
