About Pastels

Pastel is an art medium in the form of a stick, consisting of a high concentration of pure powdered pigment and a low amount of binder. Thus, they are not chalks. I loved the look of pastels, and tried it for a bit. It's just way too messy for me. Pity :(

Understand. Each medium has its good and bad points. Pastel suits me best so far.

That said, any medium is easy to learn but difficult to master.

ya, many wont know about pastels.
it gets even more confusing when there are chalk pastel and oil pastel.
