I played 4 hours of chess last night, on a big beautiful marble set. Each figure was individually hand-sculpted and signed by the artist. It looked to be "Medieval England" all washed-out and grey, carrying books and mallotts, VS. the "Arabian Nights" in vibrant bright-orange clothing, turbans, with giant machetes ( Read more... )

man, it's been a while....me Joe and Dale used to play a lot, but yeah, we always played high so the game would always turn tides when someone finally made that retarded move thinking it was brilliant and the other guy's like "alright i'll take you're queen then."

when i was in New Zealand there was a real life size board in one city which was rad to play on, you literally picked up a life size piece and walked it over to the square you wanted....it was a cool way to see and play the game.

I'll teach you, its pretty easy. I can't believe you never learned?! I'll teach you but I won't be held responsible if you become addicted...because its quite easy! I haven't played checkers in YEARS.

That would be cool! i haven't played in years. I seem to remember doing fairly well at it but i'm no master strategist. :p

You'll find now that you're older, you put a lot more thought into it. I used to make a lot of stupid mistakes when I was a kid, I was much better this time around.
