Thanks! That's exactly what (who) I'm looking for. Is he a friend of yours, and should I let him know who referred me? (I don't know your real name, but it's cool if you'd prefer not.)

Any idea what his commission might be? I obviously won't hold him to it, I'd just like an idea to start with.

Thanks again, it's such a relief to have a possibility outside the official fee-adding services.

I've ordered from him 3-4 times before and he's reliable: good communication, shipping either by EMS or SAL, and the items always arrive in good condition because of the wrapping he uses, so I have no complains. His facebook page is always full of new requests from people and good feedback, which tells me I'm not the only satisfied customer.

Just a note, last time I ordered from him was almost a year ago so his fees may have changed. I made a new order a few days ago and I'm waiting to hear the total price, but to give you an idea his fees are usually $7 per commision. Add to that $2 (bank fees for paypal) and $4 for the item to be delivered to his place, from which he'll then ship it to you.

Seems like you solved your problem, but in case, I use Yokatta: http://yokattaweb.jp/services.html

I never used them for auctions, though, only for buying doujinshi directly from the artists' websites!
The fees are around the same of those mentioned by venia_86.

I use SMJ but you have to put down a deposit first but you can bid whenever you want. Otherwise there is Celga but you need them to bid for you so you can't do it at the last moment.
