I have so many old hard drives. Going back through them is like going through the strata of my life.

I just dug up an old doujinshi I'd scanned -- and I know it's old because it was three hard drives ago! I have barely any other sense of time except what computer I was using when I did something.

I know what you mean, literally, today. I was listening to some music I copied onto a USB stick from old media CDs (YES, that thing before hard drives!) and all day I was getting not-so-random flashbacks of my first 2 years of uni (and even some highschool) while listening to it. It was definitely a bit weird. And made me feel even older :p
