I almost always ink digitally. This time I scanned the drawing before I painted it, then did the digital inking/colouring.

Yeeah I'm glad someone likes the digital one! :D

More than anything, I'm astonished at how closely the two resemble each other! Neither one makes me more pleased than the other, I think I like them equally, haha.

By the way, what at what resolution do you usually scan your work to ink digital paint it?

I did the traditional version first, and when I coloured the pattern in the digital I scanned the painting and traced it... so the pattern is exactly the same, yup yup.

300 pixels/inch :)

The added detail in your final digital piece pushes my love that way. The fur-lined collar, the neck, the dots above the eyebrow . . . love the brushstroke border fade.

I did indeed, best item ever! If I remember right, it was green?... I'm exercising my artistic license here. I also like to imagine it doubles as a poison ring, but that's just my imagination license ;)
