Stunning colors! And I love the patterns too. What medium are you working with? I've just recently picked up oils again and am way too impatient with the drying times.
Haha ohh oils. I've only used them a couple of times and I loved them, but when I paint for work I usually have tight deadlines and no way to photograph oils properly, so I'm in the habit of using acrylic.
I had all these grand aspirations to make this one a mixed media piece, but as usual it ended up being all acrylic (of various brands, on Arches hot press).
Amazing, just absolutely amazing. And major props for doing this as an actual painting, not just a digital one, especially with the detailed texturing that's just really impressive! How big is the painting, if you don't mind me asking?
I didn't even know you could do that with paaaaaaaaint *cries*
Seriously, the patterns alone are enough to make me want to weep for their beauty! I have nothing by admiration for your ability to say "F U" to Photoshop, which I can't do
Oh dude I would never say F U to Photoshop, it is my muse! It's the warm blanket I come crawling back to when the world of real media leaves me cold and confused.
Besides, you are astounding with brush and ink, you don't need PS either!
