After some coworkers found this ruby script to turn cvs commit logs to rss, I wrote my own in a non strange language: http://junglist.org/files/scripts/cvs2rss.pl

There is another cvs2rss.pl out there, but I named mine that anyway, because the other one is really cvs2xml and that isn't really useful now is it!

looks awesome! i've really been wanting a way to monitor checkins better + this fits right in with my rss addiction. thx for the a.d. too--i've already watched them all. it might be the best tv show ever.

ps - did i ever mention the extra cheesecake i brought for you and put in the fridge??

haha no you didn't tell me about the cake but i figured it out on my own :>

glad you agree about A.D. the rewatch value is great too, it really holds up time after time. I was seriously really angry when there was a chance of it not getting renewed, people were starting petitions left and right just to make sure it had a chance..

Btw, my ibook died *again* so i've been out of comission, right now I'm posting this via framebuffer links in console :(

I haven't forgotten about those phone #s, eventually I'll remember to mail em to you :)

i take no responsibility if this works or not :)

i hadn't intended on releasing it when i wrote it but it has some promise.. right now it has some stuff in it that is hardcoded etc just to make sure its rss compliant.

soon im going to hack in a diff between the two versions but that may be too much for some people (its going to have to check out the files as the user committing the file and diff the two then include that diff) and maybe a link to a cvsweb installation as well, i don't know yet :)
