new car?

I am thinking about buying a new car. The reasoning is I don't want to have to deal with maintenance on my blazer, and new cars are fun. My top pick right now is a VW Passat 2.0T. Thoughts?

Use Consumer Reports. $14/report for $40 for 3 months with unlimited reports. Plus general advice on getting a good price.

Not true at all. The report will tell you what the dealer's actual price is for the car, including dealer discounts and incentives that do not appear on the invoice. This is important bargaining information.
