To kill a mole

My father alwas swore that if you put bubble gum or peanut butter down their holes, you can kill them. Basically you need anything sweet and sticky so that when they go to eat it, they can't swallow it and thus suffocate.

I did some research and found out that yes that might work, but there are other better ways. First off, killing them dead is the only real option. Trying to use a live trap and then transporting them elsewhere is just stupid (and will piss off whoever you send them to).

Supposedly trapping is better than poisoning, but a friend of mine was very unsuccessful with the kill-em-dead traps so I decided not to go that route.

At Home Depot they had a $3 container of little pellets that were peanut butter + poison or something like that, and a $17 box of 6 much more potent does of poison. At some point you have to ask yourself, do you want them $3 dead, or $17 dead? $17 is the clear option here. I will update when they are gone.
