Two Fridays ago after one of our stellar work parties on the roof I headed to R-Place where the drag show "Lashes" had some performances being dedicated to Joe.  I got there a little later than expected but Michael was at the door waiting to get me in since I had missed the free cover. I also got to see Martine the bouncer who I rarely see anymore ( Read more... )

Kyle, you are without a doubt one of the most defiant of friends refusing to give in to helplessness and grief. You grieve, but you do it is a really positive way because you are helping all of us at the same time. thank you.

Sending you lots of <3 in your healing process...it's been a rough year :(.
(The summer camp I go to has a memorial service, I'll be making a card for Chris this year...I admire your strength and grace in dealing with all this)

I've been thinking of making something for Chris and Joe to burn at the temple at Burning Man. I may just write them letters. Something about that sounds really releasing.

beautiful post Kyle.

Sending you love.

P.S where/what is the Elite? New club? I'm going to be in Seattle for a bit and thought it might be fun to go to a gay club and dance a bit (rebar on sundays!)

Elite used to be on the northend of broadway right across from Deluxe. It was moved a few years ago to Denny & Olive. It's a bar with a couple pool tables, darts, and a loungy area. No dancy dancy really.

Rebar is probably the better dancy things. but Cuff has a pretty decent dancefloor area and a patio to cool down right next too it. There is always Neighbours too, but I haven't been there for a couple years now

I was thinking of going to Neighbors for 80s night. :)

Rebar for sundays ROCKS. Deep house goodness.

*hugs*
