We had a special cable package that was $99.00 a month. This was for ALL the channels including the movie channels plus cable internet. Over the last year they raised the bill to $149.00! Price increases suck.

So, we got satellite and DSL instead. Fuck the cable company.

Ahh the wonderful world of cable tv. We just got digital cable, which I had to install myself, and already we need a service call because we are missing channels.

I worked for two separate cable companies in the past, watching decent tv is not cheap. You may want to wait to when they have some sort of special or call and say that you are going to switch to satellite. They always have some sort of deals to keep customers. It cost more to get new customers than to keep existing ones. So keep that in mind.
