Sick, home alone, nothing good to eat.

But I have a warm bed, a husband who got up last night and helped me while I was the sickest and stayed until I got a bit better, and a family who are lovely people, even though it hurts that I can't always be with them - like today.

I'm not sure where it was, though from the few words I could catch of the language (some spoken by Americans so I'm not sure of their proper pronunciation) it would seem to be Germanic-French (like Strasbourg) or Scandinavian (for some reason Finland came to mind).

the sunset tonight was perfect: darker than usual, very simple lines, just two colors melting into each other and one star - and then it got better.

I couldn't sleep well last night, trying to decide if I could go to Amy and Ben's wedding, not sure if Cecil was well enough to leave him and Cody home alone.
