Writing the Breakout Novel? I hadn't heard of this before. Is it good? I really enjoyed Self-editing for Fiction Writers which both of us were reading a couple of months ago.
As for basic writing, would it help to talk? We can work out a time to chat and bounce ideas and comments back and forth, maybe after the holidays? Anyway, think about it :-) *hugs*
What I am enjoying about "Writing the Breakout Novel" is the way that he makes you think in new directions. He talks about internal and external conflict in a way that really matters to the reader. I'm catching the book between errands and contract work, but I really want to sit down and work through it one concept at a time so that I can really put what he is saying into some kind of relevant context for myself. The book is only $1.99 for the Kindle version. I don't see it for the nook, but a used copy at BN is only $.45

January sounds good - certainly more attainable in terms of my time also :-)
I did buy the NookBook of "Breakout Novel" this morning, unfortunately for more than the $2 that the Kindle costs. Grrrrl. Oh well, I'm sure I'll get use from it and that's what's more important :-)
