looking for a used book store I had heard about. When I went straight up 20th, (the place was on the corner of 20th & 65th), I hit a dead end at a park and went around and around til I found a way through and ended up backtracking and wasting time and... you've got it...GAS.
It has never been more expensive to not know where you are going!

I can totally feel your pain! I've decided to actually study the map I have before going out - and I have since found my way around much better. :)

So today I drove past the gas station on the corner:

$3.39/gallon. This does not compute for me, particularly when the barrel price for crude oil is dropping, according to the Wall St. Journal.

no - didn't get the couch. Picked up a used mattress/box spring, but turns out it's not firm enough for my back. So - trying to decide if I should toss or give away...

Will work on the couch next month - budget went a little over this month with double rent and flight home for ditch digging...
