I found your lj through sick for toys community. I attend UT and so does my boyfriend. For about 3 semesters he took only 3 hours with no chance at financial aid. I know that for at least a couple of them, they did something called a tuition loan, where you pay something like 1/2 or 1/3 upfront and the rest in installments.

Obviously that's still quite a bit of money. I just wanted you to be aware of that option for the future, because it's just useful to have all the information available. I know it's sometimes frustrating to deal with bureaucracies.
