Prompt - Loved Ones
Word Court - 683
William looks down on his family, the way that each of his kids have changed over the last six years; the heart ache, the pain, the joy and he wishes that he could be with them right now but he knows that it would cause them more pain to see him because of all trouble he caused whilst he was alive. In each of their own way he is proud of every one of his children and glad that Nora and Holly have moved on. He starts to think of his children’s life since he died.
Sarah, now Sarah was the most changed person out of his children, married to a French man, he wasn’t sure how he felt about it but they both seem to be so much in love. He just hopes that if they decide to have a family that she won’t forget about Paige and Cooper. He is disappointed to see that Gabe isn’t included in her life anymore; he had been such an important part of her life and now he was gone.
Though he is very proud of the business she has created; he always knew that she had the smartness for business and no matter who created her, he was her father and he always would be, no matter about the DNA.
Kitty, poor Kitty, he had seen her a couple times whilst she was going through her chemo and he had urged her to go back. The pain of having one of your children be so close to you, wanting them to be with you but knowing that it isn’t right to want her to stay here when her family needed her. Kitty was the surprise, a teacher, being a teacher seemed to suit her well, the ability to help young minds in the world of politics was very important to her and to him as well. Now, she was going to be a mother again and she was a great mother to Evan so it was great to see, even with all her difficult; he just hopes that she doesn’t get sick again.
Tommy, well, he was disappointed about what Tommy had done with his life but at least Tommy had always stuck to his gut. He did what was necessary and what he needed to do and at least that was something William could be proud of.
Kevin, well Kevin had the life anyone could be proud of, with all the trouble that he and Scotty and they still have the kind of relationship that anyone would die for. He was proud that Kevin stuck with Scotty; that kind of love is hard to find and now they have a family and both of them love the work they do. Live does look great for Kevin but he works hard to keep it and that is what he is most proud of.
Justin; Justin was the surprise of them all; after the disaster relationship he had with Rebecca, William has watched him become the man he always knew he could. A man, who worked hard, cared so much about his family and now with his rekindled relationship with Tyler; William predicted an amazing future for Justin.
Ryan, he feels sorry that he wasn’t there for Ryan but he had a great father and why ruin two families with telling the truth. Though the main reason he never mentioned Ryan was because he didn’t want to lose Nora and that truth would have ruined her, them and everyone. She handled the situation better than he expected, he always did underestimate Nora, though she had practice with Rebecca.
And Rebecca, he couldn’t help but feel glad that she had her family back; a mom and a dad, just like she always wanted. He had known that Rebecca wasn’t his but that didn’t stop him from caring about her. She was after all the daughter of someone he loved.
And finally Nora, he was so proud of Nora, she loved everyone he did and she had raised the family that he loves and will always love.
