Yes i have finally decided that the party will be at grumpys. i find that grumpys has a more peronal feel to it then hatters, the alchool is better and at grumpys it is more centered around me :D and i love being at the center. besides i never liked puking at hatters (makes me feel like an underaged american) not that i have even puked during one ( Read more... )

Ya, I watched part of that. The guy in question was grasping at straws. Plato made up a fictional utopia as a metaphore. People just won't let that die for some reason. And while it is possible that the ancient greeks had contact with the new world the trip would have been insanely dangerous and time consuming. They just didn't have the naval tech to make that sort of trip safe or fast. I thought his little attempt to make Atlantis into two words from new world dialects was the worst part. "How could Plato use two new world words together that mean Water and Copper!" or whatever he said. Gee could it be becuase the human plate is designed to make certain noises and there are thousands of not hundreds of thousands of simmilar sounding words in vasty different dialects even though the definitions of those words may not be the same. There is a difference between coincidence and fact ( ... )

I liked the Disney version of it...

no offence, its a great story and a great quest but its just that the evidence are pilling up against it. I haven see the discovery channel and the like for over 6 months... I have to say that I`m decieved everytime... except for the part where they put cd and light bulbs in the microwave.
