Politics

Now generally, I am the last one to get into politics on line. Hell most of the time i avoid talking politics in person. I tend to have conflicting opinions that confound liberals and conservatives alike. But this one ... wow, I couldn't have rigged a test to get this for a result. The questions ar tweaked around to where I got about a 75-75, Moderate Libertarian. On the original Nolan version at http://www.theadvocates.org/quiz.html, I score 100-100.

Either way, Centrist or Libertarian, I can get along :-).

Interesting. I tend to think of myself more as a (little l) libertarian but a friend of mine called me a liberal recently. Of course, he's an arch-conservative so I think even the center looks left to him...

Paleo-Liberal

You scored 71% Personal Liberty and 45% Economic Liberty!

A paleo-liberal believes in low to moderate government intervention on personal matters and moderate government intervention on economic matters. They tend to be opposed to war, police powers and victimless crimes. They believe in a social safety net, but to a lesser extent then most leftists. They generally believe in protecting personal liberty. They support self-ownership and privacy. Some Paleo-liberals may lean towards embracing capitalism as an economic system. Paleo-liberals are reminiscent of the attitude of the "new left" of the 60's and 70's. Strong Paleo-Liberals border on Libertarianism.
