Way more response than expected

Wow, so the buttons post evoked a bit more response than I had planned on. That is good, if leaves me a bit feeling like I should sacrifice sleep and spend more time in the shop. Eeep. Since I have been home for less than 20 minutes since my last posting (yes that includes two changes of clothes and a shower for those that are counting), I have not ( Read more... )

Think about 12th night, if you aren't completely wiped out at Holiday Faire. Seriously, and what ever you don't sell at either event I would be willing to take off your hands.

I may just take you up on that offer. I am coming to realize how much effort is going into this getting my stuff ready to merchant idea. And this is BEFORE I spend the entire day on my feet. What am I thinking?

I know that there a few lengths of black linen large enough for a woman's dress (around 7 yards). If memory of the bins is correct there is some light weight navy wool as well. The fabric that I am selling is generally garment sized lots of things I bought really INTENDING to get to that project to do ... Well I have decided that I have enough fabric to make 4 wardrobes. So the selection is varied. But the prices will be great!!

I am wiling to talk limited commissions with people for some time after the first of the year.

How hard would it be to make a button with a compass rose (like that image) on it? Not completely sure I'm interested, and I have absolutely no time-table at all, but I'm curious.

Hope the event goes well for you!

I have a pewter casting-related question that I need and answer for fairly quickly, and I think you may be one of a few people on the planet who could answer it for me.

WWould you happen to know or could you recommend a paint type that's good for pewter? (ladyrhi AT gmail dot com).

Thanks!
