Everyone uses their blog in a different way. Somewhere along the way I made the decision that I was not going to use this as a forum for my daily tribulations, rants and issues with the stupidity of humanity. (perhaps that is why I don’t post so often, but that is topic for consideration in perhaps another post). I really try to do somewhat as my ( Read more... )

Good one. Now, if she actually DOES drive a Pious, one can also point out that with all the toxic chemicals and manufacturing processes, the total cost to the ecology of a Pious is more than that of a Hummer. Including gas consumption.

My fucking Harley does not leak oil. And it runs quite well, at 50 mpg.
As I said to the last Prius driver that tried to out-economy me, "And I get all the girls!" snicker...

Wow .. this could be a really really long answer but I will try to make it brief. For me, why Suzuki included 1)metric/japanese bikes run well, are friendly to customer maintain, and are pretty efficient. (they also happen to have best in class maintenance stats for the size bike I was interested in getting) 2) suzuki cruisers are some of the only cruisers that have fuel injection on all their bikes (many brands have it one one or two, but often not on an 800cc bike). carborated = pain in the neck; fuel injected = starts easy no choke, no priming, no fuel off switch, no cold start issues, no problem 3) shape. this is where you start to get into the personals of picking a bike. you just have to throw a leg over lots and lots of bikes to find the shape that fits you. For example, for me Yamahas are too wide, for Dave hondas aren't long enough, for another one of my friends Kawasaki's were all too tall. You just have to be comfortable on it. 3) the look and the lines. Different makes have different styles. I happen to like the ( ... )
