one of those mornings

Today has just been one of those "I have no work ethic" mornings. It is not that I have no work to do (never seem to have that problem) it is that I am not motivated to do a bloody thing here. Copley Square, Harvard Yard (Ok Cambridge, but you can get there easily in the T), Newberry Street (fancy brownstone shops and boutiqits), Go to park, or better Independence Hall, and the Marketplace. Don't forget the Old North Church. Whew. Man, I really need to make a pilgrimage up there someday...

If you have a good amount of time for breakfast go to China Town to the Dim Sum. I can't remember the name of the place I used to go to but it used to be an opera house and the decor still reflects that.

Edited: I think it's Empire Garden.

Also I loved Harvard Square

The Museum of Fine Arts is pretty cool, and you can definitely spend more than three hours there. If you want pure random, I highly recommend the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum for the cool collection (ancient to medieval to renaissance to Seargent) of a crazy Victorian woman.

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum made me *COMPLETELY* crazy. With everything out of context, and forgeries sitting toe-to-toe with masterpieces, it's more a museum to the memory of ISG than anything else. But there are still some way cool bits in her collection.
