Bewitching Brews- Fae
A brilliant, ethereal scent: white musk, bergamot, heliotrope, peach and oakmoss.
Out of bottle: Delicious Peach and the warm of the white musk. It's the beginning of something magical.
On Skin wet: I still smell peach and the musk, but there's more to this than meets..the nose? Maybe it's the lil' things i don't know the seperate smells of yet. Candy-like smell!♥
Dry down: The peach dries down, but it still smells like a fairy and magic to me.
Overall Thoughts:Really a favourite, but seems to last for only 3-4 hours. Pretty good
Verdict: Contender for 5mL bottle!
Mad Tea Party- Alice
Curiouser and curiouser. Milk and honey with rose, carnation and bergamot.
Out of bottle:It's Bergamot again! That must be that yummy smell I love! Warmth of the milky smell.
On Skin wet:Carnations begin to show and the milk&honey mix bring out a warmth.
Dry down:fades, but with warmth. The carnations aren't sharp tome at all.
Overall Thoughts: Delicious. I have wore it to be and it was a very nice sleep. Reminds me of a sweet incense smell
Verdict:5mL bottle kthx!
Mad Tea Party- Cheshire Cat
Grapefruit, red currant, dark musk, Roman chamomile, delphinium, and lavender.
Out of bottle:Fruity and fresh. Musk warms the nose and a lil' sharpness from..the red currants?
On Skin wet:Grapefruit comes out more. Not strong.
Dry down:The chamomile comes out as it dries down and it's soothing. I don't much like the tea to drink, but I LOVE the smell.
Overall Thoughts:I could sleep to this as it dries down. If I'm having a bad day, I'll put this on.
Verdict:Keeping the Imp
Diabolus- Hellcat
A soft, sensual, luxuriant blend with a wicked bite: hazelnut, buttercream, honey mead, rum and sweet almond.
Out of bottle:Ow! It bit me! Bit me in a good way♥ Buttery sweet almond.
On Skin wet: Yummy! It smells like chocolate, but maybe that's from the hazelnuts. I can smell the rum now, but it's behind everything thing.
Dry down: The dry down is the best part. This is a little strong for me wet. It softens and smells delish!
Overall Thoughts:I'm keeping the imp and if I decide to wear it more often, maybe another? It last very long. The whole day? Chloé still smells like it after 4 days now! xD
Verdict:Keeping the Imp, maybe another?
Diabolus- Marie
A blend of sinuous violet and elegant tea rose: the chosen scent of France's Demigoddess of Debauch: Marie Antoinette.
Out of bottle:GORGEOUS! What a tease, I need some on me.
On Skin wet:I've never smelt violets, but I know now I would LOVE them. The rose in this doesn't make me sneeze and I am deliriously happy.
Dry down: Ahum..sorry, what? *nose stuck to wrist* Soprry, Marie and I are...busy.
Overall Thoughts: This one is my favourite out of my whole batch. It puts thoughts like 'maybe if I wore this around Kevin...' :x It plays into my tease side and It makes me feel, dare I say, sexy/empowered. Definitly for the flirt in your life. Hehehe
Verdict:5ml Bottle kthx! :DD
Love Potions- Endymion
Selune, the Moon Goddess, fell in love with a beautiful shepherd named Endymion. She appealed to Zeus, asking him to cast Endymion into everlasting slumber so that she could be with him for all eternity. Her wish was granted, and every night the Goddess visited her love as he slept. A sweet, wistful blend of d'Anjou pear, Lily of the Valley, bois du rose and white musk.
Out of bottle:Sharp pear and lillies. Very much lillies.
On Skin wet: Lillies and the musk.
Dry down: Sharp lillies, they haven't died down much. :(
Overall Thoughts:I'm swaping this poor guy out. I wore it to work, and though they didn't take time to notice I wore it, I couldn't enjoy it when I sneezed a few good times from it.
Verdict:
LE Samhain 2007
Truly the scent of autumn itself -- damp woods, fir needle, and black patchouli with the gentlest touches of warm pumpkin, clove, nutmeg, allspice, sweet red apple and mullein.
Out of bottle:spicy bite. I can smell the allspice, cloves and nutmeg. The dampness comes through too.
On Skin wet:Strong. Still spicy too.:)
Dry down:This lasts very long. I picked it apart all day and got hints of the apple, definitly pumpkin pie, but not enough pumpkin for me.
Overall Thoughts:I'm selling this. It turns into a strong Honey smell for me and turns me away. I like honey, but not the deep dark ones. Kind of like mayple syrup. That's what pops into my head!
Verdict:Swapping/Selling the 5mL
