Good question!

1] I really don't make public posts anymore, so really only friends can see what I write anyway.
2] I had a lot of personal material that, up until today, had been public. So this is a sort of heads up to the general public why. Thankfully, most people that don't have an LJ that might have read this are those that I know how to contact or communicate with outside LJ.
3] *laughs* It makes me feel better. Not much in the grand internet world of hackzorz, but good enough for me. ^_^
