Because I love ya'll, a little teaser from the next chapter of What Price Love. The chapter seems to be writing itself... either that, or the muse is having a field day filling my head with bits and pieces of dialog and narrative. If I can make sense of it, I should have this chapter written and up by this weekend... or at least month-end.

Thanks NiteKit! I'm glad that you like their relationship. A friend of mine emailed me to tell me that while she likes the story, the OCs are 'ehhh, but I suppose they're necessary for your plotline'. Of course, she also told me once before that she doesn't like, nor does she, read stories that contain OCs.

As for me, if the OC is well written and enhances the plot line, I'm all for it. The OCs I HATE are the blatant Mary Sue's and authors who insinuate themselves as an OC just to have one of the guys fall in love with them.

I'm the same as you for OCs. If they're main characters, they'd better be pretty darn interesting and original. If they're not, just side characters, I don't really care. I don't even check out most M/F romance stories with an OC/main chara pairing anymore, because very few can get it right.

I can't wait to see Hiei's reaction to Kurama having a kid. Especially since he doesn't know that Kurama can conceive. Yet, anyway.

I also think Ryuushin is the cutest original character ever.

I'm very happy that you like Ryuushin. I received an email from a friend of mine who doesn't really like OCs. She said something about the OCs being 'ehhh' but necessary to the plotline of my story. Actually, Ryuushin is the only one who's really essential; but I thought it'd be good to have Yusuke and Kuwabara finally mature, get married, and have families of their own, so that's why they, too, have children in my story.
