Here and There

Been a while, and it will probably be a while longer. Always playing on the net at work made me realize I would covet waaay to many things. That's bad. And I hate feeling envious. But I'm honest enough with myself to understand that was the feeling I had for a few months. So for the past two months, I've gone out and got things done. No more ( Read more... )

It takes more than only rare posts to get kicked off my flist. I always prefer quality over quantity :3

Hope you get everything sorted out but you sound pretty determined so I'm not too worried about that. Keep it up!

I'm also terrible lurker when it comes to other people's journals on LJ :(

And I know how you feel about planning 2010 better, I feel exactly the same. There's so much I want to do, and don't do. Hopefully next year I can follow your example and actually start doing all the projects and stuff I want to get done :D

:) The best advice I ever received was along the lines of: Why wait for tomorrow (next month, year...) to do what you can do today? Your time really is precious, so meet its full potential.

Aaah I've missed you hon! But I dont mind you being a lurker around lj, as long as you dont dissapear completely? T__T!

I'm one of those people that actually read self-help books for the fun of it o___o LMAO

I really hope things work out for you and you start loving your life, and really living it the way you want to. *hugs tightly*

I'm not against self help books - they're interesting. I just have to read them quickly and jump around paragraphs to avoid the repetitiveness.

I'm actually looking forward to reading a few good ones this year. Currently flipping through Napolean Hill's book 'Think and Grow Rich'. And I can't wait to dig into the Dalai Lama's 'The Art of Happiness'. And then there is 'Women Who Run with the Wolves' about the archtypical stories of women's inner spirit and their wilder side.

But then there is the comic and manga section that keeps calling to me... I pushed the others aside for SPIKE Omnibus. lol
