Possibly. But mom was watching it this weekend, and I realized why I didn't really like it. They didn't have much chemistry, and there wasn't enough time spent fleshing out their "relationship". It went to "I hate you with the white-hot intensity of 1,000 suns!!!" to "hmmm, maybe ur not so bad" to "my darling I can't live without you and I've been such a damn fool!!!" too much for my taste. Plus, it was all spent on her learning his history. Not so much hers, when she was the one who needed to have her walls broken down.
I don't think it's the perfect movie, to be honest, but I loved the chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock. He was funny in that snarky way that I love and she was just full-on bitch, which I liked because it at least a little different from her usual roles. I do agree that their relationship needed more development and when I watched it recently, it was noticeable that they wasted certain scenes like after she fell off the boat and they didn't take the time there to do more fleshing out. They also didn't elaborate on Ryan's relationship with "Gert" (OMFG ugliest nickname ever) so it ended up being totally useless because of it. Last, the ending scene felt horribly cliche in a movie where the most refreshing thing was how fun the dialogue was. After she said "it would be easier", he SO should have said: "Since when has anything involving you been easy?" I HATED that he didn't say that. It made me sad
