Arggghhh... Work Rant.
I dispise AUTOCAD can.
Graaah........... Why is the stupid this an industry standard program. The damn this is so bloated and riduculous to use. I abhor the way that i have to work around it just so the damnated contractors can have a soft copy version that they can measure. Which I am sure that half of them will never open anyways.
Why am I ranting here.... I should just suck it up and get down to it. >.<
Grrrah stupid work flow.
First off I've modeled everything nicely in Sketchup and Sketchup has a sister program that does layouts fairly efficiently. And the good thing about using that program to document is that i don't have to bother about discrepencies in each elevation. When I make changes in a plan, it auto updates completely in all 3 vertices.
The fact that I have to export every single face means that each an everytime i make a change in one face I have to manually update the connecting line in each elevation which is such a dumb thing, and kind of redundant.
I foresee that this is going to be problem going forward, becase it means that if i have to update the drawing based on the changes in the hardware , I'd have to keep re-updating and updating..............

Frustration.
My senior designer want it to be as detailed as possible at the same time having to keep chasing my own tail re updating every sigle little change is going to kill me of frustrate the hell out of me.
I hate that i'm beeing a baby over this. I really really really do. But at the same time work is work.
