The next morning, as usual, the younger male woke up earlier and began his routine of cooking breakfast. He didn't bring up the subject of last night, hoping that Hide-zou would talk to him about it soon enough.
Groaning a little in his sleep, he turned on the other side and continued to sleep more.
"Hey, wake up!" The redhead walked into their room, having already cooked the food and set aside some for his boyfriend.
"Meh...go away," he grumbled.
"No!" he jumped on the bed, tangling them up in the sheets.
"Itai! Stop, baka!" he yelled.
"Eh?! You were the one who was drinking too much last night!" he glared at him and pushed him off.
Hide-Zou fell off the bed and rubbed his head. "Itai..."
"Now get up! Don't you have band practice today?"
"Iie..." he said softly, sitting up on the floor.
"Okay..." he smiled, crawling into his lap and kissing him. "Ohayou~"
The guitarist groaned and nudged the other off of him.
Fu-ma pouted but pressed himself closer.
"What's wrong now?"
"You...you're on me."
"I know~~"
"Get off~" he groaned.
"Mou~~" Fu-ma giggled, rubbing his ass against his crotch before getting off.
"Nnn...what was that for?"
"Just something to start your day off~"
"Being horny?" He quirked a brow.
"Not really...but we'll see ne? So what do you want to do today?" he sat on the bed.
"Sleep..." he simply answered, climbing back on the bed.
"Mou...you're no fun.." he sighed, laying down with the guitarist again. "You're so boring..!" A whine.
"You complain too much..."
"Because I don't like being bored!"
"But you complain about everything I do...you should just break up with me and get it over with, Fu-ma."
"No! Do you want to break up with me?"
"It's starting not to matter anymore."
"How come?"
"Because I keep making you mad or upset or whatever and you complain about everything I do."
"...I'm sorry..." the redhead quieted down and opted to lay his head on his shoulder, a wistful sigh leaving his lips. "Do you want to make me happy?"
"I suppose...but I know exactly what you're going to say," he muttered.
"And what am I going to say?"
"Cut down on sex, stop drinking, talk you more, and probably some other shit you want me to do to be a 'better boyfriend' or whatever."
"Oh fine. I'll lighten up...hopefully you'll improve too..." Fu-ma sighed. "Well, sleep now..." he muttered.
"Fu-ma..." he said softly.
"Hai?"
"I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"For being an asshole...so, tell me what would make you happy."
For once, Fu-ma gave a small, genuine smile. He leaned up to gently kiss him, nuzzling his neck afterwards.
"Being with you like this...sober and attentive...makes me happy. Just be yourself, and don't rely too much on alcohol. Those things kill, you know..." he laughed. "I want to make you happy too."
"Meh...it's either cigarettes or alcohol, I'm gonna die either way."
"Well, maybe I can tolerate cigarettes better...alcohol just isn't classy..."
"What about wine?"
"Wine is okay..."
"But not beer?"
"Nope~"
Hide-Zou sighed. "I'll try..."
Fu-ma nodded with a smile. "I'm sure you can do it..."
"Meh..."
The redhead grinned and leaned in to kiss him. "What's with that face?"
"What face?"
"That face~" He poked his nose.
He crossed his eyes. "I have no clue what you're talking about."
"Me either...so, are you still going to keep on sleeping?"
"Maybe..."
"Aw...I wanted to go on a picnic today...."
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah. It's a beautiful day, don't you think?"
"I suppose," he muttered.
"So, why are you going to sleep it away?" he sat up, pouting and crossed his arms across his chest. "Make me happy by going out with me today."
"I always go out with you."
Fu-ma sighed. "Fine...."
Hide-Zou sighed. "Fine, I'll go on a picnic."
"YAY!"
The guitarist rolled his eyes and dragged into the bathroom.
Getting off the bed, the redhead went to the kitchen to prepare the food for their outing, humming while doing so. It was such a nice day to waste at home, and he wanted to be productive.
Twenty minutes passed and Hide-Zou finally came downstairs.
"You look great~ I already set aside some food for you, and we can leave after I'm done..." he said, letting the soup simmer while he went upstairs to take his bath. He wondered what to wear and decided on a sleeveless shirt and pencil skirt to outline the curve of his hips.
The older man laid on the couch and took a short nap as he waited.
"Ehh..." Fu-ma blinked, shrugging as he proceeded to the kitchen to wrap everything up. After he was done, he went to wake up his boyfriend.
"Nani~" he groaned.
"Time to go~ we still have to drive to the park..."
"Are you driving?"
"Yes, I'll drive..."
"Good." He sat up, got off the couch, and headed out the house.
Sometimes, he wondered if the other really did care for him as he said. It sure didn't look that way most of the time. Fu-ma sighed and picked up the basket before making sure everything was turned off and headed to the car. He got into the driver's seat and started the car.
Hide-Zou sat back and stared out the window as everything passed by. He sighed a little and rested his chin on the palm of his hand.
"You okay?" the younger male asked, placing a hand on his lover's thigh. "You seem out of it..."
"I'm fine..."
"Okay...." he nodded, sighing as he returned his attention to the road. Hide-zou was a difficult man to understand.
Closing his eyes, he let out a deep sigh.
Deciding not to interfere, Fu-ma simply gave him a small smile. He was thankful that the park wasn't very far as he parked.
"Well, here we are..." he stopped the engine and got out of the car, getting the picnic basket.
Hide-Zou took his time and got out the car, pulling out a cigarette. He lit it up and took a deep drag. Looking off to the side, he made to the spot where they would be sitting.
Fu-ma had already spread out the blanket under a huge sakura tree, giving them a nice shade. He smiled as he took out everything, not noticing the older man heading his way.
He sat down and continued smoking.
He bit his lip and handed Hide-zou a plate, motioning that he should get for himself.
"I'm not hungry."
"O-oh..." Fu-ma's face visibly fell; he had spent a long amount of time cooking, and the other didn't even say that he wasn't going to eat. He simply nodded and took a small portion for himself, trying not to cry.
"I'm gonna take a walk," he said softly, putting the cigarette to his lips and walking away silently.
"Okay..." the younger one nodded, sitting there and actually feeling like a fool. He ate and then put everything away, sighing. He wasn't really happy, and he wondered why he was wasting his time like this. A few men who walked past him smiled at him and tried to garner his attention, but he was too engrossed in his musings to notice.
Hide-Zou came back to his supposed koi, ten minutes later. "Fu-ma..." he paused for a moment, "...we need to talk."
