Zero sits on the couch, takes a bite of his sandwich, and calls up his band mate. He holds the phone to his ear, chews on his lunch, and waits for someone to answer.
“Hello?” a groggy voice answers.
“Karyu~ Are you still asleep?” he asks curiously.
“Yeah…hangover.”
“Oh, I’m sorry. Want me to call you back?”
“No, it’s fine. What’s up?”
“Just checking to see how things were with you. You’ve been acting weird since our last live.”
“Mm…I guess.”
“Are you still mad at me?”
“No, why would I be mad?”
“Because of what I said about my relationship with Uruha.”
“Oh, don’t worry about it.”
“Well, I was wondering if you wanted come by, but since you’re sick…”
“Yeah, I should probably stay home. I don’t think your boyfriend would want me over there anyway,” Karyu groans softly as he turns over on the other side.
“What do you mean?” Zero asks, furrowing his brows.
“Your boyfriend doesn’t likes me.”
“Just because he caught us playing around, doesn’t mean`”
“Zero, you should stop making excuses for him. You seriously need to end things,” he advises.
“Stop exaggerating, Karyu~ You’re making Uruha sound like a crazy man,” he chuckles.
“I’m not. Your boyfriend threatened me at our last live. That’s why I haven’t been near you anymore.”
“Please. No threat against you scares you that much.”
“Well, I don’t know what Uruha’s capable of, but those seemingly innocent ones are usually the most dangerous. So, you really need to break up with him.”
“Crazy people don’t love and I believe that Uruha’s perfectly sane, because he loves me,” Zero says firmly and hangs up. “I can’t believe my own best friend would make up such a bogus lie. Uruha isn’t capable of such a thing. I can’t imagine him threatening anyone.”
The bassist shrugs it off and continues enjoying his lunch. He sighs to himself and thinks a little about the brief phone conversation. He sips at his soda and looks over at the person coming through the door. He smiles at the person and says, “Welcome home, baby~”
Uruha gives the other a look, takes his shoes and jacket off, and heads to the kitchen with a bag in his hand. He puts the bag down and digs through the silverware drawer.
Zero raises a brow and follows the other. “What’s wrong, Uruha?” he asks with a frown.
“I ran into Hizumi at the sushi shop and he harassed me outside,” Uruha answers.
“I thought you two weren’t talking.”
“We aren’t but he wants some of the gifts he gave me back.”
“Oh…” Zero responds, looking off. “Did you tell him about us?”
“No, but I’m tempted to,” Uruha groans, taking out a knife, “I’m so sick of every man being bastards to me. I do everything they want and still they want me to give and give. I’m tired of it!” He stabs the counter and looks at the bassist, swallowing hard. He walks over to him and caresses his cheek with a soft smile. “That’s why I’m with you,” he says, kissing the other, before walking off. “Your food’s in the bag. I’m gonna take a nap,” he calls, shutting the bedroom door.

Karyu joins his band mate on the couch and watches him open an envelope he got in the mail. He sips at his beer and turns the TV on.
“Holy shit, Karyu!” Zero exclaims, staring at the credit card bill.
“What?”
“Look at this~”he says, passing the paper.
“Oh…wow. How’d you end up spending so much money in a month?”
“This was stuff I bought for Uruha. I didn’t realize I spent more than $20,000.”
“Told you he was a user~” Karyu says, sipping at his beer.
“He’s not. I’m sure he’ll pay me back for all this.”
“I bet he won’t”
Zero’s cell phone’s alarm goes off and takes it out, turning it off.
“What was that?”
“My alarm. I have to go pick up Uruha from work,” he sighs, standing up and stretching.
“So, you’re his chauffeur now.”
“Shut up,” he replies, putting his shoes on and slipping his jacket on, “I’ll see you later.”
Karyu waves a little and watches the other leave.

Zero pulls up to the side of the club building and puts the car in park. He feels his phone vibrate, takes it out, and looks at the message. He sighs a bit, turns the ignition off, and walks in the back entrance, glancing around at the half dressed performers walking around. He heads toward the blonde’s dressing room and peeks his head in. “Ready?”
Uruha grins and says, “Come in and shut the door.”
The bassist sighs softly, steps in, and shoves his hands in his jacket pockets, leaning against the door. He watches the other remove his make-up in the mirror and plays with the change in one of the pockets.
“I have some good news,” Uruha says happily, disposing the napkins.
“What’s that?”
“I’m taking some vacation time soon and after your last live, we can spend some extra special time together.”
“Ooh, like what?”
The blonde smiles at him and says, “I was thinking a nice little island setting. Maybe some drinks, massages, and…skinny dipping.”
Zero half smirks and responds, “That sounds like a lot of fun.”
“Mhm~ You’ll find out about it tomorrow when I make reservations,” he says, keeping the smile on his face. He stands up, takes Zero’s hand, and leads him out the room.
