Hello!
So, I figured it was time for an update.
So, I have a new job. My day job involves me working at a computer, checking info and making calls if need be. It pays well and isn't horrifically (SP?) hard. My night job (the one I've had since last summer) is a hostess at a local restaurant. The pay isn't as good as the day job, but its more interactive and I'm better at it than the day job so its nice to be good-ish at something. Either way, I'm glad I'm making money and I hope to keep the day job when I go to school (because college = no money = need job = job I know = money = GOOD)
Weekly dinners with the girls is going well. It gets hard sometimes to plan it out but it works out most of the time. I'm really, really, really going to miss them when I go back to school.
Speaking of school, my new dorm is already proving to be a pain in the ass and I don't even live there! We have summer reading. I'm living with two strangers. I have a feeling that Ashley and I will barely get along as roommates and we probably won't be very good friends when the year's over and I'm really, really, really going to miss my friends and family from home. At home, I know I'm loved and I feel loved. When I'm at school, I feel a lot more lost and lonely than I need to. I'm just afraid to jump back into the emotional turmoil that was my freshman year. Oh well. C'est la vie and let's hope for the best.
I'm keeping busy, which is weird because I feel like I have a life which never happens :P I haven't shopped as much, which is good, but I feel like the things I'm buying are things I'll actually be using so I'm doing good. Learned a lot from my freshman year in NYC -- aka the city that lulls you into a shopping haze.
Ooh, I finally got my hands on some Bethany Joy Lenz music and I absolutely love her more than I did before. Huzzah. I will meet her one day!
