Japan Trip Part 2
This is Part 2 of my Japan trip plan, Part 1 is here.
Thursday will be our first whole day in Tokyo, we will be staying in Shinjuku. Click here for my Tokyo Google Map. I really wanted to have a totally unrushed day of shopping around our hotel. Marui One, Innocent World, Closet Child and Volks should do it. The boys will be sent off to the Meguro Parasite Museum. Then we'll all meet up at the Cat Cafe for some cats and tea! We'll end the day with a late night dinner at Alcatraz ER.
Friday is all about Harajuku. It will be an all day, all evening adventure through Harajuku's magical streets. The highlights include - Daiso, Bodyline, Soom, Volks, LaForet, Miho Matsuda, Putumayo, H.NAOTO and more. Then we'll recharge and go for a late night adventure in Roppongi to Trick or Treat. Their website is so cute!
Saturday will probably be a late start. We'll hit a few toy stores in Shibuya like Junie Moon, Maria Cuore, Mediacom 1/6 Project and Mandarake. I have been wanting to go to Maria Cuore for many many years! Maybe a power nap and then out to Christon Cafe for drinks and a late night snack. Then up to the 9th floor to the outlandish Decadence Bar to jam to the DJ stylings of DJ SiSen.
Sunday (Halloween)!! Yes, Halloween in Tokyo. How to spend it?? Well after the crazy Decadence party I am sure we will sleep in and need a bit of relaxation. So my plan was to have a grand Halloween picnic at one of the loveliest parks in Tokyo, Shinjuku Gyoen. It's only a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Then in the most exciting development of my trip, we go to a Halloween Party. Not just any Halloween Party, the Trick or Treat Presents Halloween party 2010 featuring Aural Vampire and much more! Here is the flyer. No one can fully appreciate how hard it was to get these tickets :)
