Yeah, like you need to worry about it in Hawaii... You're "furnace" is the Evil Day Star.

But, the electrician made it at about 4:00 this afternoon, and by about 5:00 we had the furnace back on again, so I'm comfortable now, without my fleece jacket and without the space heater :)

Finals are ok, I have two left. One is tomorrow morning at 9:30 on Geology and I need an 80% or better on it if I'm going to pass with a "C-" or higher (those damn 8am labs that are worth 5% each just kill me, or at least the ones I never went to). Then I have my last one on C Programming on Thursday evening at 6. That one shouldn't be a problem, and while I did miss one program assignment because the electronic submission form messed up (told me I had successfully submitted when apparently I had not), I got a 140/100 on one of the others, and a 150/100 on still another, and I might have gotten extra credit on the last one too (it hasn't been graded yet), so that makes up for it a fair bit. On top of that, I have no real difficulty with the subject matter, so the final should not be overly difficult.

"Without the space heater"? Does that mean you got rid of your computer? >:O That sucks about the furnace being out for that time :( I tell you what, if it happens again I'll fly out and keep you warm ;P At least you are nice and warm now. Oh and just because we have the evil day star here, doesn't mean that it is ALWAYS warm here. I still freeze, but I am also a freak who gets cold in triple digit temps. Oh and to bore you with my repetitions, good luck on finals :)

No, what I meant was, I had the computer, which is sort of a space heater, and I had an actual space heater... Then the furnace was back on and I got rid of the actual space heater but kept the computer (like I'd get rid of it!).

And no, just the Evil Day Star alone does not mean it never cools down there, however... if you leave the windows and doors wide open, and turn off your fans (or even leave them on), the temperature in your house is very unlikely to drop down to 55 or less. We on the other hand had the windows and doors CLOSED and it dropped to 55 in the house (I'm surprised it didn't get even colder than that, sice the low outside was supposed to be 28 or so, and the high yesterday was only supposed to be 32, though I think it actually got up to 35-ish). So there's still a fair bit of difference, and if it gets too cold for you over the night, you can use the Evil Day Star Furnace to warm it up again the next day.

;P
