I must also go camera hunting :3 I decided I wanted a much better digital camera, one that I can use zoom/focus lenses and polaroid filters and stuff for great multimedia justice! So that's what I'm doing with my birthday money after I get it in a few days...

You should try out DSLRs if you have the money ^^ I heard Nikon DSLRs are fantastic!! :3 I don't plan on getting a DSLR because I'm only using my camera for casual shooting, that and I don't think my weak arms would like to carry a heavy camera all day! x(
