I've gone over everything so many times in the past few days, particularly yesterday--the disbelief, the nothinginess, the indifference, the ( Read more... )

because it's practically tradition, NOT because it's good... cartwheelmaster August 13 2005, 21:13:52 UTC

The subject refers to the interesting thing below....well, below the first interesting thing...that's the paragraph....oh never mind...back to business and being straightforward: Okay basically this is one last attempt at poetry dedicated to the one, the only: Misinformation. With any luck it's decent, otherwise dedicating it to you MIGHT be considered insulting......::falls over::

-a poem for a poet

I know this girl
And I am glad

(my smile not as apparent on curved lips as imprinted on a childlike soul)

She uses big words like me
But, unlike me, she actually understands them

(explains them to me, if I ask)

She has a quiet nature
That speaks for itself

(her eloquence both imminent and soft)

And she is without question
Beyond the term of 'beautiful' or adverb of 'lovely'

(though she has both beauty and love in scads)

I know this girl
And I am fortunate

(my heart attached to hers with Russian literature and a penchant for poetry, among other things)

You say what I feel... anonymous August 14 2005, 05:46:31 UTC
I don't know what to say, I think you've said it all, too. With a lot of things in my life lately, I haven't responded emotionally in the way I probably should have. The end of school--I don't know why I didn't cry, and I don't know why I'm not deeply nostalgic for Dreyfoos, and even the good-byes...I've even been suppressing my cries, saving them for later, but what if they don't come later? Nothing is as we were expecting it to be. But by this time, I'm sure that you're gone from this. I hope that you've had the best first day possible in New College. I love you my Melly Jay(lame, I know:)

I'll talk to you soon,
Rachie
