Dear Yuletide Fairy,

Thank you for writing for me! I like you already. I honestly am not that picky -- I mean it when I say please write whatever you're most excited to write, since I think those stories always turn out best.

If you'd like some ideas, though:

I like fic that's wistful or funny or about something beyond just the relationship (pranks or an event or sailing or whatever), or about the details of everyday life. I'm big on details in general, really, and stories about growing up or friendship or change. I really dig unusual narrative styles. You can probably get a feel for my taste through my favorite stories on delicious.

In Flash Forward, I love the sense of history and familiarity between Becca and Tucker. Like I said, I'd love something set in the future -- college or post-college or high school -- that's about transitioning over that line from friendship to more. First time fic would be AWES, or getting-back-together fic (like the old 'comedy of remarriage' trope in screwball comedies) would make my year. And I really really dig the awkward/sweet vibe of the finale.

Philadelphia Story: pretty much what I said in my request. Tracy/Dexter/Mike 4evs, even in a gen incarnation. Be whatever you like, you're my redhead. You've got fires banked down in you, hearth-fires and holocausts.

Big Bang Theory: I want Penny to be fleshed out and awesome! And I would kill for a Penny/Sheldon fic, especially something that shows how evenly matched they are, like how she was the only person who'd go to war with him over the strike system; what about something that shows them teaming up *against* someone (their landlord?)? Or if Leonard and Leslie had continued to date, the progression of Sheldon and Penny spending more and more time together.

Um, that's it! Thank you thank you thank you!

yuletide, yuletide letter
