I've never seen red trilliums in person, only in photos. They're so beautiful!

They are beautiful! We don't have those here. We don't have much of anything right now.

Mostly dandelions... Everything is really late this year. I did see lupine today! The wild roses should be out soon, and the $*&$(@)*$ May Day trees, that always throw me into fits of coughing and sneezing, blossomed this week.

OH!!! My little crab apple tree is finally in bloom! All fluffy with fuchsia flowers!

I will post a photo of it!

The red trilliums are so pretty.

I really like fern. We saw tons of it when we were in Oregon. You sure don't see it around Phoenix, though. :)

The white trillium is pretty with the red center. The white trilliums I've seen are plain white.

Our white trilliums are very dainty and delicate looking. I believe they are on the endangered list. We are lucky enough to have several in our woods.

I've heard that our white trilliums are on the threatened list. I've seen them at a few of the local, wooded parks.

Oh those are pretty, too. They look like our red ones. Thank you for sharing a West coast trillium with me.
