Contacts are weird. Seriously...for the first time ever (apparently the third time really is the charm) I"m actually making contacts work but I'm not sure if I like them. Everyone keeps going on about how different I look without my glasses and about how pretty my eyes are. Like they've somehow magically changed. It's just strange ( Read more... )

The blurry is more cause the prescription is off.
If you really like them, talk to Dr. and get them fitted and the right prescription.

Costco has a coupon on those lenses BTW.

Yeah...I'm strongly considering that but it will have to wait until I have some extra cash to burn...right now contacts count as a frivoulous extra.

If the focus is all off, yes, it could be that they arent fitted right, or sometimes they'll just pop off a slight bit, just close your eyes and gently run your fingers across your eyelids, they should re-"suction". The one thing that I had the worst time getting used to contacts-vs-glasses is that you can see clear everywhere, not just where the glasses are (so you can see at your peripherals). I could actually have a book in my lap and not strain my neck, just move my eyes. So weird to get used to.

There should be tons of pics. I did this for the wedding because I couldn't afford a new frame and I really needed one cuz my old pair is starting to look a little rough around the edges.
