I don't get that whole thing either. If its rated R, you don't take your kids. Its up to you as a PARENT to make sure they don't see the movie. You can't STOP the movie industry all together because your too stupid to let your child see the movies, yada yada. (and OMG someone took their small kids to Sin City? We actually sold our DVD just beacuse we didn't want X to accidentally seeing bits of it!)

I shall watch Saturday Night Live tonight just to check out AFI :-)

Yay!! I saw brief clip and it looked goooooooood :o)

And I love your Twilight Princess icon. Zelda and Link 4 evah!

And seriously! There were movies and shows where my mom said 'no, I don't think it's appropriate for you to watch it now' and there were some that were OK, but my mom watched it with us and explained stuff until we were old enough to know...

I couldn't believe those kids were there. It was intense for me!
That's my other beef: people who think animation/cartoon/comic = kids' movie.
Animation is a medium, not a genre. South Park is not kid friendly. That Adam Sandler animated Hanukkah movie was not for younger kids.
But parents were all "OMG!! It was animated! I had no idea!"
Um, you're the parent, you're supposed to have an idea.

Hey now! My parents took me to the theatre to see the original "Heavy Metal" when it came out....of course, my parents both did drugs when I was a kid [pot & hash people! they were not junkies]
