I worked for the follow-up with the Census. It only lasted about a month (sad) but was easy, interesting work with good pay. Oh, and I can't tell you about the interesting parts. Haha

Yes, yes I did. Twice, actually. The first time, I didn't like how it came out, so I broke the solid apoxy off and started over. The first time I had basically globbed apoxy onto his hooves and carved/etched the feathers... but they didn't look very real or natural. When I did it again, I put a ring of apoxy around his legs just above where his hooves should be, then rolled each "feather" individually and stuck them on, only pushing them flat at the tops, so they stayed cylindrical, and arranged them like real hair. I was MUCH happier with that outcome. I think it came out pretty good.
