Congrats on the airbrush! Most of my friends swear by them, and I have a few pics o0n my wall that abuse techniques using an airbrush.

I hope you have fun with it, and glad to hear that you are feeling more like yourself again!

Thank you so much! X3 I may try it for pictures sometime too, I was mostly thinking of using it in textile art. XD

The friend who uses an airbrush will often draw and color the main picture (such as the characters), and use the airbrush for backgrounds and accents by covering the sections that are already complete. It is a time consuming process, but some of the end results are just amazing

In fact, here's a link to some of her work (although it is in German):

And this is one she gave to me as a gift this summer, which is now hanging above my computer:

Just an idea as to what can be done with an airbrush ^_^

WOW that is amazing! X3 Her style reminds me a bit of CLAMP, and I know they use airbrushes for backgrounds too. I'm so inspired!

Glad you're having fun with stuff...

... and an airbrush. OooooOOOOOoooooooh. Never used one myself, but I've seen a lot of very nifty-looking airbrushed art... I look forward to seeing what you'll do with it!

AIIIIRRRRBRRRUUUSSSHHHHH!!!!!
=P~~ *drools with envy*

Not to seem like a mooch, but I may be interested in borrowing it for purposes of making a tail sometime in the next few weeks. Cheetah spots X_O.
I can help pay for paint or whatever, if you're interested. If not, then just say so, and no hard feelings at all =^_^=

Sure! I actually have plenty of paint, and you'll find that it really doesn't take that much paint either, especially for small accents like cheetah spots. X3 I have everything I think you should need, you can even borrow my slicker brush if you like X3 (I almost want to try them myself, that sounds fun! X3)

Awesome, maybe we can get together some time and give it a go. I still have to MAKE the tail first, but I have all the tools and materials for that already, so its just getting the time and actually -doing- it haha.
