Well hey everyone! Things have been pretty chill here mostly, I'm adjusting to living back home after graduating. It isn't as bad as I thought it would be initially, and having my room back again is pretty nice. The atmosphere here at home is certainly way different than when I left. Things have gotten a lot busier now since my brother moved ( Read more... )

THANK YOU KIT-CHAN! X3

And yes! I REALLY want to write a book someday, NaNo is a good place to start. XD Anyway, I'm heavily debating what I'm doing for NaNoWriMo this year. I have a bunch of old projects in my head that I've wanted to write forever. The thing is though, there's a couple of totally new ideas swimming around in my head, and I keep wanting to follow those more. At this point, I think I'm going more with one of the new ideas. I have this RPG world I want to design involving shapeshifting anthro critters (dragons, kitsune, kirin, tigers, and many many more XD) and I'm thinking of writing a novel in that setting to help me develop it more. X3 I have NO idea what it would be about, but I keep thinking of a kirin and a kitsune as the main characters... XD

YEAH! XD I think you're thinking of the bilabial trill, which is a cool sound. XD

I like a lot of the uvular and velar sounds myself, because a lot of them are just amazingly unique. I was almost surprised that languages even have them, and even more so that people can DO them. (I still remember one of the fake words I had to do for my phonetics class, it was something like [βɑxʀõ]. I LOVE how that sounds, I am SO using that in a made up language. XD)

I love the bilabial sound too. The linguolabial trill is the "rasberry sound." I found it on wikipedia *beams proudly* I'm a novice at all this stuff, but im working on my own language, so i've been trying to learn more. Again, thank you wikipedia, youre my bestest friend.
