[The pile of blankets shift. Her voice comes out dreadfully muffled.]

[She hears the final click.

A pause, and a hand reaches out of the pile of blankets to snatch up the dreamberry, quickly jamming the off button. Repeatedly. Only when the light of the dreamberry extinguishes itself does she grit her teeth and slam the poor device back down on the dresser table.

A lull.

She pointedly doesn't get up at all.]

[So, uh, Senri doesn't get what happened, but he can tell that it probably wasn't... good. Yeah.]

[kyudousha]

[Hey, a voice we don't recognize- Oh, him. Yeah, he doesn't use his voice nearly enough for us to recognize, really, but... :/ A sigh.]

[Aw, Senri. She appreciates it, even if she tsuns to high heaven about it later. A pause, and she takes the dreamberry in hand. Lying through her teeth here.]

There's more to what happened.

[Snarl. The pile of blankets shake violently.]

It ended when he smacked my freakin' head off.

I'll admit Raven is an idiot for what he did, but it wasn't us who lost that fight; it was him and that's what he was intending all along.

We would have died, but that fool of an old man saved us in the end and tried to sacrifice himself.

[She flinches. A hand whips out from beneath the blankets and snatches at the dreamberry. Her jaw is clenched.]

... I've heard that a million times. From a million different mouths.

Once more isn't going to make it any less of a freakin' lie.

[She remembers this scene very well, but she's a little surprised that it ended like that. So abruptly.]

[Oh, hell, not Judith too. She should have reworked the filter when she had the chance. A pause.]

[And this is her, looking terribly unamused.]
