It's because you're about as mathematically-challenged as it gets.

And it should be pretty obvious, shouldn't it? -2 = 1. Two wrongs make a right.

And are you even sure that's how it works? I thought the equals sign meant that both sides were the same.

You saw the proof, didn't you? Though yeah, you've pretty much nailed the problem, right there. The fact that both sides of the equation obviously don't add up pretty much points to a mathematical fallacy.

Not everythin's that's positive is right, and not everythin's that's negative is wrong.
