Well ya don't need ta know what one's like ta just know yer with a group of people ya care about. Take the guilds. No one's related, but they're all close together ya can consider 'em all like family.

[and he gets all dramatic again] A bond between people brought together! Looking out for each other and sharin' birthday parties! [okay, maybe not that last one but he got caught up in the moment all right?]

Right. If it's all about bonds that bring people together, then it's a definite no. The only thing that brought us together was the world screwing itself over. Otherwise, we wouldn't have even met.
