ALright, so let's talk about New Orleans for a minute. So there's rampant looting going on in the Crescent City. Now, the people stealing water, food, diapers, stuff like that, I can understand. I find it ironic that this is exactly the kind of situation our National Guard is intended for, and yet most of the Guard isn't here. But that's a whole 'nother issue.

I'm also getting sick of people bitching about gas prices, knowing damn well how much worse it is in Lousiana and Mississippi right now. I've been experimenting with shifting into neutral on straightaways to see how long I can coast without losing too much speed. My car's good at coasting.

Yeah, I'm all for conserving and what not. But still, some places are just plain ass gouging on the cost. I'm not so much pissed that my gas is expensive because of the storm: you're absolutely right, at least I haven't lost everything I own. But god damn, people taking advantage of the situation, like those assholes in New Orleans and these stupid morons trying to make a fortune on gas, make me sick. I hate greedy people.

And this is the reason I'm pro-gun. Anyone tries to loot my house after a natural disaster and I'll shoot the bastards. And today, those people shooting at the army corps of engineers trying to make sure that the damkned city doesn't stay underwater for eternity. I mean, what kind of moron does it take to shoot the people who are trying to save your home.
