The Red Sox got swept. I can't believe it. They didn't even put up a fight. We sat on top of the A.L. East for most of the season, only to hit a downward spiral at the end of September to tie the Yankees, but lost the division title because they beat us head to head one more time. C'mon man, they won the World Series.

Might I add it was THE SINGLE MOST AMAZING MOMENT IN THE HISTORY OF SPORTS. Being down 3-0, coming back and sweeping the New York Yankees. The single most famous rivalry in the history of sports.

You have something about which to be proud. The Sox did something truly unique. You have nothing of which to be ashamed.

I'm jealous...I wish my Redskins would win a Super Bowl while I was alive to actually appreciate it.
