Okay, so I'm really picky about where I donate money. For instance, if I see a Salavation Army collection I'll usually give whatever I have in my wallet, whereas I'd rather unrinate in one for the Red Cross. I like to know that my money is going to an organization that is doing good things for people and that a bunch of pencil pushers aren't

meh. I'm not to big a fan of the salvation army. I've seen too many things like this. Donor choose sounds super awesome, though! Overall I have a tendency to glom onto local charities or super far away world wide charities ...

Yeah, it gives me peace of mind to not only have a good idea of where the money is going, but in fact be able to see how much a project needs to be completed, pay that much, and then watch as the computer tells you that some kid in some school in some city now has a book or something. I like to see results like that.
