So I start my new job Thursday. And honestly, I was getting desperate. My checking account is just about empty, and I really don't want to touch any of my savings accounts or my other investments. The local supermarket was offering $9 an hour to work in their fish department, and seeing as how I remember my grocery store days as rather ridiculously

Shit, they stopped paying me like a month and a half ago. You only get it for a set amount of time or for however long you worked the year before, whichever is less, and apparently I only worked 13 weeks in 2004, so I only got paid for 13 weeks. Kind of sucks, but oh well.
