Summary: This is the love and also life story (okay until their twenties) of Sungmin, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, Donghae and Ryeowook. The story tells about how they grow up and closer and also how they will find their first and maybe ever-lasting love. In this Chapter, Sungmin is hoping for his brother Eunhyuk getting well soon. He definitely doesn't want to leave him and neither does Donghae. Until they get an idea how to help the injured Eunhyuk.
Two months had passed now and Eunhyuk was still unconscious. His injuries were healed but he wouldn't wake up. Heechul lost over 7 kilos and looked like a carcass now. Sungmin suffered from short of sleep, Hankyung was stressed out and Ryeowook gained lots of weight from frustation. Donghae didn't dare to come in the room anymore but he always watched from outside.
Today was a sad day. Not only that Eunhyuk wasn't awake yet, it was even his and Sungmin's sixth birthday. Sungmin had brought a birthday cake to the hospital and even some candles. He put the cake next to Eunhyuk's bed and began to sing quietely.
"Happy Birthday to us, Happy Birthday to us..." His voice faded and he started to cry again. Heechul stroked his hair softly and looked sadly at her injured son.
"Sssh... Sungmin, it's alright... Don't cry..." Sungmin cried even more because he knew that it was not alright. He held Eunhyuk's hand and talked with him.
"Hyukkie, wake up soon... You're six years old now! We can watch the first two Harry-Potter-episodes without Umma and Appa now... Hyukkie, we miss you so much, please wake up! Please... Even Donghae is very upset although he had known you for only a few weeks... Hyukkie, pleasewake up! We hadn't play with Minho and Taemin and Jonghyun and Jungmo the whole time... they really miss you. Eunhyukkie... " No answer.
Donghae stood outside and watched them. He felt guilty and sorry for bringing that much suffer to the family. It wasn't his fault but he was still young and believed it since Sungmin told him so. Suddenly, the door opened and Sungmin came out. He looked at Donghae for a while and reached his hand to him.
Donghae looked with a surprised look at his hyung.
"Hyung?"
"I'm sorry... I didn't mean it. You know, when I said that it was your fault... I was angry and it was wrong and I'm sorry for yelling at you and seperating you from Hyukkie and everything... Donghae, please come in and keep visiting him, okay?"
Donghae just stared at him. He couldn't believe what Sungmin had said.
"Donghae? Fishy?"
"Thank you, hyung! I'm very happy!" Donghae exclaimed and hugged Sungmin tightly. Someone tipped at Donghae's back.
"Hyung, are you friends with Sungmin hyung again?" Kyuhyun stood next to his hyungs and looked at them with big, innocent eyes. His laptop was under his right arm. Kyuhyun came to the hospital quite often, too. The most time it was because he wanted to play with Sungmin and because he missed his brother, Donghae but he was also worried for Eunhyuk. Sungmin hugged him and whispered in his ear: "Yes, Kyu! We are friends again!"
"Yay! Because Donghae hyung was so sad and Sungmin hyung was so angry... And I don't want my to favorite hyungs being angry with each other... By the way, Happy Birthday, Hyung! My Umma told me that it is your's and Eunhyuk hyung's birthday! You are so old now, hyung! Six years old! But next month, I'm gonna be as old as Wookie hyung!" Kyuhyun exclaimed proudly. Then he hold a stuffed bunny in Sungmin's face.
"Hyung, that's my present for you! You are so nice and everything, so I wanted to give you this as a present! I have one for Eunhyuk hyung, too but... " Kyuhyun looked down. Sungmin took the bunny happily and kissed Kyuhyun on the cheek.
"Wow! You're so nice, Kyu! Stay like this and you will really find a pretty and nice girlfriend when you're older! And I'm sure that Eunhyuk will love that monkey!"
"Hyung, if my girlfriend is going to be like you, she's gonna be perfect! I want a girlfriend who is like you, Sungmin hyung!" Kyuhyun kissed Sungmin back and Sungmin giggled. Donghae had already disappeared in Eunhyuk's room. Sungmin entered the room again, but Heechul stopped him.
"Ummaaaa! Let me be with Hyukkie!"
"Sungmin, dear... You can't stay here the whole time.... Go home and play with your friends. It's not good to throw your life away. When Hyukjae wakes up, I'm gonna call Appa and he will bring you here immediately, alright?"
"NO! NOOOOOO! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO! Umma! I don't want to play with any friends! I want to stay with Hyukkie! Let! Me! Go!" Sungmin screamed when his mother held his wrist, preventing him from going into the hospital's room.
"Lee Sungmin!", Heechul growled. "You aren't a little baby anymore. It's your birthday, you are six years old now. You go and celebrating your birthday with your friends. And same goes for you, Donghae! Don't waste your time here. I'm taking care of him. Go out and play with Sungmin and your friends!" Sungmin began to cry. Donghae shook his had fiercely.
"I don't want to have birthday if I can't celebrate it with Hyukkie!"
"Sungmin, please! I promise you, if he wakes up when you're absent today, I'm gonna do anything you want. Okay?"
"All I want is Eunhyukkie waking up!" Sungmin cried out. He was very stubborn and Heechul sighed. She was already enough stressed, why was it her oldest son to be like that? She hugged him tightly and stroked his back.
"Sungmin, be a good boy, please, okay? Eunhyukkie wouldn't want you to stay here and waste your time. Maybe you will get an idea how to help him?" Sungmin pouted. He didn't want to leave his brother. Someone pinched his arm from behind.
"Sungmin hyung, I want you to come out and play with me and Donghae hyung!" Kyuhyun stated and looked at him with sparkling eyes. He really tried his best to help Heechul. After all, he missed Sungmin and Donghae and wanted them to play with him. Sungmin glared at him as angry as he could but when he saw the cute little boy, he melted.
"But what is about Wookie?"
"Sungmin, you know that your brother isn't here the whole day. He's still at home sometimes and plays with his instruments. Even though I would prefer seeing him play with some friends." Heechul sighed again. Little did she know that Yesung would come over sometimes for learning to play the piano from Ryeowook. He even brought the Xiah Junsu autograph.
"Okay... But only today! And only because Kyu is so cute! And because you asked that nicely, Umma.... Donghae, you come with me?" Donghae hesistated. He looked shyly at the ground but after a while, he lifted his head and agreed.
"Okay, I'm going with you. I have to take care of my little brother. Kyuhyun is such a good-for-nothing!" Kyuhyun pouted again and hit his brother's arm.
"I'm not! You are, Pabo!"
"Cho Kyuhyun! Who taught you those words?" Heechul cursed. Kyuhyun looked at her with the cutest smile he could afford and she just sighed. "However, get out of here now, Sungmin, Donghae and Kyuhyun!"
The hospital was only a block away from their house, so Heechul didn't have to be worried about them getting lost or something like that. Funnily enough it was Kyuhyun, the maknae, who remembered the was the best. Donghae and Sungmin would have gone lost if it wasn't Kyuhyun who led their way.
When they arrived home, Sungmin went to their neighbours immediately, the Chois, Sooyoung and Sunny, who had two boys, named Taemin and Jonghyun. They had time and were very happy to see Sungmin and Donghae again, after two months. They've never met Kyuhyun since he was in his room the whole time, playing Starcraft. But they still welcomed him kindly.
"Sungmin hyung! I missed you so much!" Taemin exclaimed and hugged Sungmin. His eyes were teary from happiness after seeing his long-not-seen-friend again.
"Sungmin hyung, is he your friend?" Kyuhyun asked curiously.
"Yes, Kyu, why?" Sungmin wondered.
"I'm just asking... you seem quite close to him..." Kyuhyun sent Taemin a suspicious glare.
"Ehm, well, yes Kyu, that's Taemin! Taemin, that's my dongsaeng Kyu!" Taemin waved to Kyuhyun who still stared at him.
"By the way, I'm his favorite dongsaeng after Eunhyuk hyung!" Kyuhyun stated simply, without even knowing if it was true.
"Yes, he is!" Sungmin grinned.
"It's great to have a hyung who appreciates you as the favorite dongsaeng, isn't it? I'm Minho's favorite dongsaeng, too!" Taemin exclaimed proudly. Kyuhyun blushed over his own jealousy.
"He doesn't even know who Minho is, Taeminnie... By the way, Minho is the favorite dongsaeng of everyone! He's a hyung whore!" Sungmin shouted out loud.
"What's a whore?" Taemin asked, not knowing what his hyung meant to say.
"Dunno... It's something bad? Umma had called a girl who tried to act like she wanted everyone to like her that... That's what Minho does! But we still like him!" Sungmin explained.
"Wait, wait... Sungmin hyung, I'm not your favorite dongsaeng?" Donghae pouted.
"You only can be the favorite dongsaeng of one person and you are already Hyukkie's. I can't have you as my favorite dongsaeng, but you are my second! Kyu is my first spot and Hyukkie and Wookie doesn't count! Siblings never count!" Sungmin demonstrated his theory of favorite dongsaengs and the rules. Donghae grinned when he heard that he was Eunhyuk's favorite dongsaeng.
He continued.
"Jonghyun, you are so old and educated already... our Hyukkie is in the hospital and won't wake up, what shall we do?"
"Ehm... So you wish that he will get well soon?"
"Of course!" Sungmin pouted. Wasn't it obvious?
"I heard that if you fold 1000 cranes from paper, you will have a wish granted!"
"...Really?" Sungmin's voice was full of hope. Donghae lifted his head as well. Jonghyun nodded fiercely.
"Yes!"
"But 1000 is soooo much... " Sungmin looked down.
"I'll help you!" Donghae hugged Sungmin.
"Me too!" Kyuhyun raised his hand and grinned. He really wanted to help his hyungs, including Eunhyuk.
"Me three!" Taemin said and giggled over his own joke. He was a very nice guy and suffered from his friends being sad as well.
"Kay, I'll join." Jonghyun said, since he had to take care of his little brother and it even was his own idea. He wasn't the one who talked a lot but he was still a kind person.
"Oh, and Minnie hyung! We have your birthday present here! And even Eunhyuk hyungs but since he is... well, however, here is it!" Taemin gave his' and Jonghyun's present to Sungmin who smiled happily. He really loved presents! After unwrapping it, a movie box was revealed. There were all the movies Eunhyuk and Sungmin liked, some Disney-Movies for Sungmin and action movies for Eunhyuk. Sungmin's smile went bigger and he hugged Taemin and Jonghyun.
"Thanks a lot, guys! I really like it and I bet Eunhyuk is going to love it!"
"Glad you like it." Jonghyun answered, either with a smile on his face. Taemin cheered: "Yay! You like it! You see, Jonghyun, I told you it was a good idea!"
"But Umma had this idea."
"And I found it great! However, let's start folding those cranes!"
They started to fold the cranes. Although they were five people, they were still little children, each had to fold 200 cranes. Soon, they were tired of folding paper cranes and Taemin started to yawn. He was still young, so he begann to play around with things he thought that they were more interesting.
Kyuhyun made large breaks in which he played Starcraft and it ended with him completely forgetting about his task. Jonghyun had started to look out of the window and finally there were only Donghae and Sungmin folding the peper cranes. When it got dark, they only had 278 paper cranes and Sungmin was very upset. Donghae tried to comfort him. Kyuhyun was still busy playing Starcraft and Taemin and Jonghyun felt guilty because they forgot about their task.
"Awww... Sungmin hyung, I'm so sorry! But tomorrow are we going to continue, okay? And this time I'm gonna keep it until the end! And Jonghyun, too, right?" Jonghyun nodded. Both, Jonghyun and Taemin, went home again, where their parents were already a bit angry.
"Taemin! Jonghyun! Where have you been?" Sunny stood in the front door, hands on her hips and scolding her sons. Taemin pouted and Jonghyun looked down.
"Eunhyukkie is in the hospital and we helped them folding cranes for him getting well soon..." He started and Sunny's face birghtened.
"Awww! My sons are so kind and cute? That's great, but the next time, come home earlier, arasso?"
"Arasso!" The boys were happy that they didn't get that much scolded.

"Eunhyukkie, Donghae and I and Kyuhyun are helping you! Don't be upset if I won't be here with you half of the day... only Umma, Appa and Ryeowook are here then, and sometimes auntie Leeteuk and uncle Kangin... But we think of you the whole time, Hyukkie! Arasso?"
No answer. Sungmin puffed his cheeks cutely and stared at his brother for another while. Eunhyuk neither moved nor made any noise and Sungmin sighed. He stood up and walked out of the room, not without saying good-bye to his other brother and his Umma.
"Umma~ Ryeowook~ I'll come back in a few hours!"
"Yes, have fun darling!" Heechul cheered her son. She was happy that he went out for playing with his friends again, after spending his life in the hospital the last two months.
Sungmin and Donghae ran out of the hospital, followed by Kyuhyun who was just calm. Sungmin and Donghae ran to the left and after a while, they noticed that Kyuhyun wasn't behind them anymore. They turned around and saw him walking into the opposite direction.
"Kyuhyun! Where are you going!" Donghae shouted.
"Home. And you?" Kyuhyun asked back.
"Home!"
"Then why are you going into the airport's direction?"
Donghae and Sungmin looked at each other and both blushed. They grinned and followed Kyuhyun home, deciding never ever to go anywhere alone without him.

"Awww... Sungmin hyung, I'm so sorry! But tomorrow are we going to continue, okay? And this time I'm gonna keep it until the end! And Jonghyun, too, right?" Jonghyun nodded. Both, Jonghyun and Taemin, went home again, where their parents were already a bit angry.
"Taemin! Jonghyun! Where have you been?" Sunny stood in the front door, hands on her hips and scolding her sons. Taemin pouted and Jonghyun looked down.
"Eunhyukkie is in the hospital and we helped them folding cranes for him getting well soon..." He started and Sunny's face birghtened.
"Awww! My sons are so kind and cute? That's great, but the next time, come home earlier, arasso?"
"Arasso!" The boys were happy that they didn't get that much scolded.

"Eunhyukkie, Donghae and I and Kyuhyun are helping you! Don't be upset if I won't be here with you half of the day... only Umma, Appa and Ryeowook are here then, and sometimes auntie Leeteuk and uncle Kangin... But we think of you the whole time, Hyukkie! Arasso?"
No answer. Sungmin puffed his cheeks cutely and stared at his brother for another while. Eunhyuk neither moved nor made any noise and Sungmin sighed. He stood up and walked out of the room, not without saying good-bye to his other brother and his Umma.
"Umma~ Ryeowook~ I'll come back in a few hours!"
"Yes, have fun darling!" Heechul cheered her son. She was happy that he went out for playing with his friends again, after spending his life in the hospital the last two months.
Sungmin and Donghae ran out of the hospital, followed by Kyuhyun who was just calm. Sungmin and Donghae ran to the left and after a while, they noticed that Kyuhyun wasn't behind them anymore. They turned around and saw him walking into the opposite direction.
"Kyuhyun! Where are you going!" Donghae shouted.
"Home. And you?" Kyuhyun asked back.
"Home!"
"Then why are you going into the airport's direction?"
Donghae and Sungmin looked at each other and both blushed. They grinned and followed Kyuhyun home, deciding never ever to go anywhere alone without him.
